ABOUT SHADE

Shade Children Foundation is a children's project in Thika, Kenya. We currently give 31 children a safe place to stay in Shade house.

On a daily basis it's run by a manager/social worker, housemothers to take care of the children and a watchman/guard during the night. There is also a possibility to volunteer at our project.

The manager and other employees are under direct supervison of the board of SCF Kenya (NGO). SCF Nederland (stichting) is responsible for fundraising and giving advice on all kind of issues. The SCF divisons are working closely together to make sure the children get the best care and education as possible.

We intent to update you regularly about the progresss the children make. You will find some pictures on this webiste at 'The Children'.
